Hot Tub Shipping Information

Shipping is included in the price, save a newly imposed fuel surcharge for delivery to certain states (see below). Delivery is curbside, with free lift-gate service*. Special requirements due to delivery-truck access difficulties may cost more**.  On rare occasion, our shipper imposes unually high shipping rates for deliveries to remote areas.  We reserve the right to notify you of the additional shipping costs required if above the typical shipping cost calculated into the price of the spa.  In this rare event, it is most often the result of the customer being well outside any major shipping lane.

Backyard delivery is available for an additional $275-$350, unless there are major obstacles or difficulties. (For example, safely moving a spa up more than three steps may require special measures.) Be sure to discuss your landscape with us prior to opting for backyard delivery.  Curbside delivery restrictions and exceptions only pertain to hot tub deliveries - portable pools delivery do not have these limitations, due to the lesser weight and size of the components.

Our shipper now imposes a $160 fuel surcharge (except for the St.Tropez and Monaco models) for shipping to certain states within the contiguous United States. The fuel surcharge is not imposed in the following states: AR, CO, IA, IL, KS, LA, MO, NE, NM, OK and TX.

For shipping to Hawaii and Alaska, please call for an exact quote. Anticipate an additional charge of $400-$500 to Alaska and about $1200 to Hawaii, depending on spa size. We do not charge sales tax outside of Colorado, so you may still save significantly over buying locally. We encourage you to comparison shop in local showrooms.

* If you live in a neighborhood that a semi-tractor trailer cannot access (for example, due to low trees or a gateway, etc.), your spa will be delivered in a smaller truck for a surcharge of about $150. This is an unlikely requirement, however. After four years with our current shipper, we have not once needed to transfer a spa to a smaller vehicle.

** Our Santa Barbara II, Monaco and Infinity models are so large they require a larger flatbed truck. These trucks do not have lift gates, so delivery is limited to locations with a forklift, loading dock, pallet jack or furniture dolly. Alternatively, a spa can be transported to a local moving or storage company for final delivery to your backyard.

We assume no liability for loss or damage caused by the shipping company, so it is the customer’s responsibility to file any claims with the shipper. We will, however, facilitate this process in the unlikely event of a claim. You are encouraged to thoroughly inspect your spa on delivery and notate any damage on the bill of lading before signing. Generally, only spas with a damaged acrylic shell or frame should be refused. We highly recommend you have us crate your spa ($100-$140, depending on model size), which virtually elminates the chance of the spa being damaged during shipping.  In the 13 years we've been in business, with thousands of spas sold, we've had only one damage claim with a spa that was crated.

European Retail Sales, Shipping and Wholesale Distribution

We also specialize in shipping to Europe.  We ship single (crated) spas directly to our European customers as well as containers (quantity: 10-12 spas) to dealers throughout the European Union.  Contact us for our wholesale pricelist, which is substanially lower than the retail (single spa) prices presented on our website.

Spas are built for Europe’s 50 Hz power supply (The pump and heater will be slightly smaller, due to Europe’s lower supply of amperage) and meet the CE standards of compliance. The manufacturer’s warranty is fully honored..  Do not hesitate to request a shipping quote for a single spa or inquire about wholesale volume exportation.
